"Honoring our Heroes 2020" Citizen Awards

The Covid 19 virus doesn’t allow The Black Diamond Labor Day Committee to do all the fun things we usually do for Labor Days, but we felt like we could not let the year go by without some form of celebration.

We are asking you, residents of Black Diamond, to send in your nominee for someone you feel deserves special recognition during this pandemic.   This person must be a resident of Black Diamond.  There are so many people in our community who have stepped up to the challenge of working under difficult circumstances.  Think:  Doctors, teachers, cashiers, first responders, take out restaurant employees, home schooling parents.

Fill out this form.   Give the name, address and phone number of your hero.  Tell us a little bit about how this person has done an extra special job during the quarantine.  We will recognize these individuals with a certificate and plaque.  You will be able to remain anonymous if you desire.  You can also email your response to Frank Rinehart.  You must return your nomination by August 15, 2020

We will sell generic 2020 Black Diamond Labor Days tee shirts and buttons at these local stores.  Coming soon!

This will be a Labor Days to remember to be sure so pick up a tee shirt and button.
