
The 2023 Black Diamond Labor Day Committee invites you to join us in our annual community celebration parade. The Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 4, 2023.
This year’s theme is
“Everyone Belongs in Black Diamond"
Parade

To register for parade entry and to participate, you must pre-register by completing the application and either email the completed app to hello@blackdiamondlabordays.com or mail it to PO Box 716, Black Diamond, WA 98010. To provide proper information to our announcers, we request that you complete and attach a 3x5 card providing us with background information regarding your group. The 3x5 card shall include a short 40 – 50 word write-up aimed at individuals who know nothing about your group. This information will be read as your group passes the judge’s stand.
For the safety of parade spectators, we request that you DO NOT THROW candy or any other item from your parade entry. Please distribute these by a person walking the sideline area.
EACH ENTRY shall exercise all precautions for the safety of others and shall be responsible for their own animal, float, vehicle, etc., keeping entry in order, and under control, and responsible for cleanup after your animal before, during, and after the parade.
Please arrive early on the day of the parade. You will be given your number for judging when you check in on Monday morning. Check-in will begin at 8:00 am and end at 9:30 am in front of the Black Diamond Fire Station on Baker Street, on the west side of Hwy 169.
The parade starts promptly at 10 am.

The deadline for entry is Thursday, Aug 31st at 5 pm if you wish to be judged.
Late applications will be allowed to march but may not be announced or judged by our officials.
